• Here are my notes about this document:
  • The (modern) transcription contains a couple of errors. For Samuel's industry the census form actually says "Laundry" (not "Lormaly") and for Jennie's age it actually says 54 (not 34).
  • The family is living at the same house in Queens as at the time of the 1925 and 1930 censuses, 19107 Jamaica Ave. See this address today in Google Maps.
  • The house is listed as having a value of $10,000 (whereas in the 1930 census its value had been listed as $22,000).
  • The Meyer family are still tenants in the house, paying a monthly rent of $45 (whereas in the 1930 census their rent was $55). Morris Meyer's occupation is Proprietor, Grocery Store.
