• Here are my notes about this document:
  • The address appears to be 16 Ludlow. See this address today in Google Maps.
  • It's hard to read Abram's occupation. For Sarah and Leah the occupation is Housework. For Rachel it's Operator, for Alter it's Presser, and for Ida, Morris, and Sam it's School.
  • Alter (Albert) is listed as being 29. But if he was born in 1890 as other documents state, then at this time he would have been about 25.
  • It's hard to read Abram's occupation. For Sarah and Leah the occupation is Housework. For Rachel it's Operator, for Alter it's Presser, and for Ida, Morris, and Sam it's School.
  • Although one of the names is transcribed as "Leah", I'm not sure this is actually what the handwriting says? Leah's age is given as 23, whereas she would have been more like 33 in 1915. Meanwhile, Leah got married to Henry Brock in 1914, and this census is from 1915. Meanwhile I also found a 1915 census record for Henry and Lena (?) Brock which I think is more likely the actual record for Leah.
  • Harry (Leah's son) is listed neither in this record, nor in the record that's probably for Henry and Leah. He would have been about 18 in 1915. Perhaps he'd already moved to Minnesota? We know he was in Minnesota two years later when he registered for the draft.
  • Rose's/Rachel's age is listed as 19 in the 1905 census, 23 in the 1910 census, 21 in the 1915 census, and 32 in the 1920 census. So the age (21) in this 1915 census can't be correct, if these are all the same person.
