- All three addresses were on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Benjamin's (Beni's) and Julia's (Julie's) addresses are a six-minute walk from each other, according to Google Maps. Nowadays their addresses would be considered part of the East Village, but in those days the Lower East Side extended further. (See the Wikipedia page about the Lower East side.)
- Benjamin's address is the same as the address found in the 1900 census for his father (Herman), stepmother, and younger (half)-siblings. Presumably this means that Benjamin was living with them prior to his marriage.
- One of the witnesses, George Gottlieb, has the same last name as the man whom Helen Schwartz married a quarter of a century later (S. Joseph (Sam) Gotlieb.) -- probably just a coincidence?
