This 1930 census form shows Abraham Rosenthal and his wife Sarah (Silverstein) Rosenthal [Harold's paternal grandparents], living in Manhattan with three adult children: Rose, Morris, and Sam.

Here are my notes about this document:
- The address appears to be 225 Henry St. on the Lower East Side (although I did not spot a street name on this page, the preceding page in the census says "Henry Street" and ends with # 227.) See this address today in Google Maps.
- Rose (Rosenthal) Schaeffer (Albert's older sister) is listed as "Rose Rosenthal." I think this is more likely to be an error than an indication she was using her maiden name, especially as she had been listed in the previous census as "Rose Schaeffer" and was later listed in the 1940 census as "Rose Schaeffer."
- Where is Rose's daughter Miriam Schaeffer? She had been listed in the 1925 census at age 8, and was later listed in the 1940 census at age 22, living with her mother Rose. At this time of this 1930 census, she would have been about 13. Probably her omission from this 1930 census was just an error?
- Ida Rosenthal (Albert's younger sister) is not listed in this census. She had been listed with the family in the 1925 census. Had she gotten married? Moved out? Was she still living?
- The family's rent is listed as $40 / month.
- Under Radio set, there is a "R"; this indicates they owned a radio.
- Whether able to read or write: it says "yes" for all family members.
- For Abraham, Sarah, and Rose, mother tongue is Yiddish.
- Occupation for Abraham and Sarah is "none" (presumably Abraham had retired?)
- Occupation and industry for the adult children:
  - Rose: Operator, Buttonholes
  - Morris: Manager, Dry Goods store
  - Sam: Teacher, Public schools
- For "whether actually at work yesterday (or the last regular working day)" it says "Yes" for Rose and Morris, but "No" for Sam (perhaps because it was summer?)
- For "age at first marriage," for both Abraham and Sarah it says "21."
- For year of immigration, it says "1902" for Abraham, Sarah, and Rose.
