Small World Comments
Erik Stewart and I just finished the interactive fiction
(text adventure) game
Small World, which we
quite enjoyed -- it's funny, interesting, and flows well.
However, we feel that players of this game should know a few things, to
avoid confusion or going down the wrong path:
- Don't sign the Devil's contract, no matter how much he insists;
find some other way to get rid of him instead.
- If you try to pour water and it says you can't because the ground
is too parched (which makes no sense anyway), all it really means is you
have to open the canteen first.
- When attaching the magic pipe, the colors *DO* have to match.
- The game ends in the same location where it begins.
With that settled, do
give it a try!
