to the Beeton Auditorim at the Toronto Reference Library (789 Yonge Street),
for a special meeting
of the Bootmakers
Sherlock Holmes Society featuring:
- An introduction and quiz about the Sherlock Holmes story "The
Adventure of the Noble Bachelor" (to participate fully you should
read the story in advance).
- A lecture by Mike Ranieri about the history of theatrical
adaptations of Sherlock Holmes.
- A live dramatic
performance of the short play "The Norwood Builder",
adapted
from the original story,
featuring
Chris Hardess (Watson, First Constable),
Mike Ranieri (Lestrade, Oldacre, Mrs. McFarlane),
Jeff Rosenthal (music, McFarlane, Second Constable),
and Ross Saturno (Holmes).
