JEFF & FRIENDS - A special music show on Saturday June 22, 1996

On Saturday, June 22, 1996, at 9:00 p.m., I organized a special music show (one night only!) at The Oasis in downtown Toronto (294 College St., just west of Spadina, phone 975-0845). (See poster, set list.)

This show was a fun evening of Blues, Rock, and Folk music. It was a big success, with about 100 people attending. I sang and played guitar and harmonica, plus a bit of bass, keyboard, and saxophone. I performed with a great line-up of musicians and singers, including:

Who You Are [or in mp3] (2:40, 318K). This is a song that I wrote. I sang and played guitar and harmonica, and was joined by the band Tuna Casserole Blues (see photo), featuring Mike Rosenthal (drums), Mark Watts (lead guitar), and Kevin Wimberley (bass). See lyrics.
What's Real [or in mp3] (3:49, 457K). Another song that I wrote. I played guitar and sang lead, and was joined by Sarah Fulford (cello), Mike Rosenthal (drums), and Annie Dupuis (harmony vocals). See lyrics.

I was very excited about this big show, and was thrilled that a capacity crowd of about 100 people, including many friends, attended. It was great to see everyone! Everything worked out well, the music sounded good, the show was a big success, and I had a great time. Yay!
