Camping and Canoeing

I have been on some delightful camping and canoeing trips over the years, mostly in Algonquin Provincial Park and Kilarney Provincial Park, in Ontario.

Many of those trips were with the "Budskis" group, whose regulars included Phil and Chaz Morenz, Leonya Livshits, Rebecca Green, Gordon MacDonald, and Paul Szeptycki. From 1987 to 1991 or so, we went on about three canoeing trips each summer. The trips were great fun, even if I had to temporarily forgo my favourite beverage. We also once rented a cottage where we played croquet.

More recently, I have gone on a number of camping and canoeing trips with Margaret. I have also at times been a member of the University of Toronto Outing Club, and have gone on a few trips with them as well.

I once wrote a short story about a camping and canoeing trip.
