I consider Star Trek viewing to be a social event. Thus, I am happy to receive invitations to fun Star-Trek-viewing opportunities.
I once saw Michael Dorn (a.k.a. Lt. Worf) at a Star Trek Convention in Minneapolis. In response to my request, he performed the "Worf laugh" to the delight of the hundreds of fans in attendance.
I have been known to dress up as Lt. Worf at Halloween parties (see photo), and even once did a zombie version (see photo). I also brought a prop to a Star Trek movie viewing (see photo).
I have spent many hours watching Star Trek with my good buddy and veteran Trekker Lee Urton. During a visit in the mid 1990s, we watched 25 one-hour episodes over a period of three days!
I wrote a spacetag Java applet inspired, in part, by Star Trek. Check it out!
I once wrote a Star Trek spoof involving the character of Huckleberry Finn.
I performed in the Star Trek spoof play Chronocide, twice: at the Toronto Trek Convention on July 9, 1999, and at The Oasis on July 12, 1999. I played the musical accompaniment on a keyboard, and also played the characters of Worf, McCoy, and the Grand Negus.
More recently, I posted some comedy videos, some of which have Star Trek themes.
It could be argued that I was into Star Trek from a very young age.
